Innovate is a National and International initiative focused on Dance Development, Production and Touring, developing the Art form of Hip Hop through Special Projects and Creative Initiatives by:
- Creating projects that nurture and develop the art of Hip Hop, challenging preconceptions of the genre and building audiences
- Creating opportunities for artists to engage in dance activity
- Helping artists to develop creatively
- Providing opportunities for minority communities
- Challenging expectations and traditions
- Generating inter-cultural activities and productions
- Challenging departmentalised thinking
- Generating experimental platforms
- Valuing and promoting origin and identity within diversity
- Valuing partner organisations and stakeholders
Acting as Producer, independance will introduce Artists to Promoters and connect Promoters to Artists and Companies, encouraging the exploration of non- traditional working models and practices
